E||——————————————————————————————9-10-11-12–
B||————————————————————————9-10-11-12——————–
G||——————————————————9-10-11-12————————————–
D||————————————9-10-11-12——————————————————–
A||——————9-10-11-12————————————————————————–
E||9-10-11-12——————————————————————————————–
9= index finger, 10 = middle finger, 11, ring finger, 12 = small finger
More patterns:
12-11-10-9
10-12-9-11
11-9-12-10
Play this with 60-75 BPM.
Now you turn your hand where you hold the strings at the angle of 180 and play all patterns. No, I’m not kidding! Play following pattern very slow for about five minutes: 9-10-11-12. After this, turn your hand back and play the pattern 12-11-10-9. Did you notice it? I guess yes. Your little finger increased speed; every pattern will increase one finger. Please note, when you play this exercise: Make sure to hold your hand, the strings played with, softly. Do a break sometimes; when you stop, your fingers builds and increases as well. Play slow!
I hope this idea helps you like me. Have fun playing and practicing! Enjoy! Post your comments here.
